The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and all surfaces could not be altered during paint removal. Great care with hand held tools were utilized to remove the paint and not damage the historic structure. The entire stadium was scaffolded and shrink-wrapped with Bayview Environmental Services, Inc. completing this in 10,000-15,000 square feet phases. We had approximately 10-15 workers per containment where five workers would apply paint remover and the following day it would be removed by hand and pressure washed. The material was then packaged in 55-gallon DOT drums. Bayview fully contained each floor utilizing negative air, personal decontamination chambers and offload chambers. All ACM material was bagged and placed into 40 yard bins and disposed of properly along with all other hazardous materials.
